Welcome to The Crossing!

THE CROSSING is an inclusive, multi-faith, non-profit organization at UW-Madison. We welcome a diverse community of students and community advocates. Our beautiful, historic, and welcoming space was built in 1917. We invite students to study, enjoy being together, collaborate on justice advocacy, take time for spiritual reflection, and regularly share meals

Weekly programming at THE CROSSING includes small groups that have meaningful conversations about important national, local and campus issues. Our weekly Wednesday dinner gathering includes music, conversation, good food and words from leaders. We also create opportunities to critically examine topics and texts as we explore our spiritualities together.

Most days of the week students can find a free or low cost delicious, hot meal here. ALL students are welcome. We are partnered with Slow Food Cafe, the Food Recovery Network, and UW Frozen Meals Program, who all serve meals at THE CROSSING. See our calendar for meal service days & times.
